The Legal Advisor’s Office of the Civil Aviation Authority of Malaysia (CAAM) is led by a Legal Advisor and two (2) Legal Officers who are responsible in providing legal advisory services to the Civil Aviation Authority of Malaysia (CAAM) on civil aviation laws in Malaysia.
- Responsible in providing legal advisory services to the Civil Aviation Authority of Malaysia (CAAM) on legal issues relating to civil aviation laws in Malaysia.
- Responsible in drafting and amending the primary and subsidiary legislation relating to civil aviation laws in Malaysia and ensuring that the relevant legislation is in accordance with Malaysia’s international obligations under the Chicago Convention.
- Responsible in vetting domestic and international legal instruments relating to civil aviation and ensuring that the interests of the Civil Aviation Authority of Malaysia (CAAM) and Government are protected at all time.
- Acting as an intermediary in civil cases on behalf of the Civil Aviation Authority of Malaysia (CAAM).
